The Pyramids at Giza

After about three hours of sleep, we set out to see the pyramids at Giza and the Sphinx. It was pretty incredible. It was surprising to see the pyramids almost adjoining the city. They also get more and more massive as you get closer and see the scale of the giant slabs of stones used to make them. We also got to go inside the sendond largest one, ride a camel and see the Sphinx. Mohammed, our guide was brilliant, and kept us going long past the point of exhaustion! We ended the day at the papyrus factory.
