From MIT Lightweight Crew 1980-84

  • MIT Frosh 150 1980
  • The Harvard, MIT, Dartmouth race. Freshman Lightweight 8's. We are in the middle leading by about a length coming into Harvard Bridge. We were so stoked going into the race. There was only one goal...beat Harvard.
  • We moved through the bridge, held off Harvard on their move and were about a length ahead when it seemed we had thrown an anchor overboard. The boat became heavy and we limped back losing by a couple of lengths. Frosh Lights Spring 1981.
  • Another win for MIT Frosh Lights after the MIT, Rutgers, Coastguard race. Steve Carrol is soaked from being thrown in. Lto R. Phil Michael, Tony Masterson, Andy Kellen, Craig Trautman, Ahsan Iqbal, Dan Money, Steve Smith, Andy Osler and Steve Carrol in wet clothes. Spring 1981.
