  • The Stargazer exceeded my expectations. It is a beautiful yacht. The Neilsons gave us the welcome mat and I wanted in our own cabin! Linda was not a fan of the doorway going into the cabin since it took away some space.

  • The port aft cabin which we always occupy. Next time we might just stay in the starboard cabin since all the circuit breakers are located there and it is easier for the Captain to manage. The beautiful mat from the Neilsons makes it look even better.

  • There are four cabins and four heads, This is the one of the heads or bathroom. The shower area is in the background with the partial divider. An automatic bilge gets the water out.

  • The saloon on the Stargazer. The table can be lowered and cushions placed on it to make another bed if there is a shortage of cabins. The red suction cup on the table is used to pull up the floor boards where more of the fresh water bottles can be stored. It has a watermaker and we ended up not using even half the water in the tanks and half of the drinking water you see on the shelves.

  • Linda is walking down the steps into the Port hull where our cabin is located. We loved the saloon layout which was very spacious and did not restrict movement when preparing meals. One person could be cooking while the other at the sink and another with a cutting board.

  • The cockpit also has a large table that can easily seat 8 people around it. Rob and the family in an intense game of spoons while we are in the Scrub Island Marina.

  • Tied up in our slip in the Scrub Island Marina. The name had not been installed so they taped the name on and misspelled it as Stargaver.

  • Linda exploring the boat. So much to see! We got the option of the wood like finish. It is supposed to not stain. Lets see how well it wears but I loved how it looks.

  • During the briefing we found some issues with the rigging so they had to send Brandon up fix it. You can see him on top of the mast on the Bosun's chair through the ceiling opening.

  • The main sail going up. It was a great sight. We finally had to take the loop from an FP Saba 50 to see if it worked and it did. Must be the wear that make it fall in place the the trapezoidal sail.
