Outer Banks, North Carolina

Family members from all parts of the globe gathered in Corolla, NC in the Outer Banks for a few days of fun. Saadia and the kids, Daanyal Meyer and Zeryab Meyer came from England, Bisma, Ijaz and kids also crossed the Atlantic, Amara and her daughter came from Richmond, and Amber, Abid and their son Maher came from Virginia. We got a house looking out over the ocean, with a swimming pool, a volleyball court and pool table among other things. Bisma brought her culinary skills to bear on us, leaving us very contented.

The swimming pool saw brisk business from the moment the sun came up. The temperature at this point....48 degrees. THe pool was heated thankfully. Saadia doing lifeguard duty.

Next stop was the beach where the water was frigid. It was 50 yards to the beach access. The kids would dip their ankles in and then madly race out.
