Out hike in Mills Creek towards Lambs Canyon. It was the first time on this branch and we loved it. We started around 7 and were back down by 8:30. We did run back which we had never done before but the trail was suited for that.
The after dinner hikes are great because you get the setting sunlight.
Up at the top.
Anisa was not breathing hard enought so I made her carry the backpack!
We saw a stand of Aspens and we head towards it.
We make it to the Aspens and took some pictures before we turned around and it got dark. We saw many people running the trail so we decided to run back too!
Our little glen!
It was a perfect stand of trees.
Setting sun. Time to run back.
This was our first downhill run and you use muscles you didnt know existed.
Anisa was the pace setter.
Sunscreen application before we start. We rented the bikes which worked out very well.
Up above Park City on the Eyrie Trail.
Anisa's first time on a mountain bike. There were lots of screams.
She thought it was the funniest thing.
In slow motion after Linda took a turn and stopped she toppled over. She was laughing all the way down!
Perhaps because we were novices at mountain biking and had to keep a close eye on the road, we could not take in the scenery.
Switchbacks.
Following Anisa. Her one shoulder backback was a hinderance so we stuffed it into my backpack.
Some turns were harder to navigate especially if there were lots of rocks around.
We wait for Linda to catch up.
After we got off the mountain we headed back on the paved trail.
My so very excited team!
Almost done with the Mountain Bike Trail. My team is not as happy as I was!
Thunderstorms and lightening were starting to come down so we fiugred we would hustle back.
After returning the bikes we went to Park City and walked around. It was very pleasant and one of our favorite places. That is Main Street right behind us with lots of restaurants and art galleries.
