Saad and I at the Stotesbury Cup Regatta. Anisa had just finished her Freshman 8 race.
Subway coolness.
Saad and Omer as they wait for Maha to do some shopping.
One of the cool buildings on our walk uptown.
Another shopping stop. Maha in the background while we admire the marketing juggernaut of Sephora.
A short icecream break. We almost had to push past the kids.
We go revisit Columbia, Omer's alma mater.
Columbia's welcome back. Omar had to show the own hidden in a fold of the statue. A new graduate was there too and clearly was not up to the lore from decades back.
The Havana Cafe. It used to be Omer's old stomping ground in a different livery.
After our conversations all moring, the "be the man" exhortation cracked us all up.
Times Square with the sun setting.
And wouldn;t you know it...there was a Sephora in Times Square. But this time we didnt get dragged in.
We did have to kid Maha about it though. Here she is in front of Sephora.
Times Square.
Saad showing his pictures.
Just to be clear, this is a real road with traffic as Saad stands cooly in the middle to take pictures.
The Naked Cowboy seemed to be a big hit. That is as much skin as you will see in Times Square which was a pretty crazy place 20 year ago.
I decided to take pictures at slow shutter speed to show Saad in full glory.
Bicycle rickshaws in the traffic.
The Carnegie Deli with a monster sandwich. I just had to show the full sequence.
Even the people at the adjoining table were taking pictures.
No stopping now.
More Times Square activities.
Maha and Mohammad.
