For our 25th Anniversary, I surprised LInda with a cruise in the Eastern Mediterranean on the Royal Carribean Navigator of the Seas. We flew to Rome on the 20th of September and left from the harbor in Civitaveccia, about 30 km outside Rome. From there we sailed to Messina in Sicily, Athens in Greece, Kusadasi in Turkey and Iraklion in Crete. The seven days were fabulous; from the ports of call to our dinner companions we couldn't have asked for a better time,
The train station at Rome Airport. It was not too far from where we landed. The biggest problem was that one piece of luggage did not arrive and was sitting in Frankfurt. Lufthansa assured us it would catch up by Messina.
