Your Bio

Rowing and Aircraft are my passions so you will see that in a lot of my photographs. The credit for these pictures go to my wife as much as me since we are always finding shots together. I grew up in Pakistan, a beautiful land with beautiful people that you will glimpse in these pages as well. I am also a rower and a coach, so you will see a lot of photographs on the water related to crew. Aircraft design is also in my blood, and I love the lines of sleek airplanes. Masters Nationals 2009 : My Fairmount crews handled the first day of Masters Nationals with a win in the Club A 4+. Saturday saw a hard ought silver in the Men's A 8+. Sunday, the Men's B 4- became champions. This is not to mention the crews that made it to finals and thereby helped Fairmount collect the most points at Nationals on Boathouse Row.

Highlights of Mediterranean Cruise 2009 : For our 25th Anniversary, I surprised LInda with a cruise in the Eastern Mediterranean on the Royal Carribean Navigator of the Seas. We flew to Rome on the 20th of September and left from the harbor in Civitaveccia, about 30 km outside Rome. From there we sailed to Messina in Sicily, Athens in Greece, Kusadasi in Turkey and Iraklion in Crete. The seven days were fabulous; from the ports of call to our dinner companions we couldn't have asked for a better time,

The Art of Rowing : My wife and I have always kept a camera handy while we coached rowing. The images here capture that beauty and grace in rowing that have kept us so engaged with the sport. Most of the pictures are of the St. Louis Rowing Club crews(that are like family) as well as Shipley School where my son rowed(which is also like family!).
